Vision In Silver Vol. 4

As we've finished Vision In Silver, I find myself feeling relieved. I feel like on all my posts that have to do with this book, I've been saying over and over that this boo has confused me. This book was a more challenging read for me, mostly due to the fact that I don't read these kind of books and genres, and because there were so many plots going on throughout the entire book. The ending wasn't as bad for me to read as the rest of the book, although I feel like there really wasn't a real ending to the novel. This probably relates to what happened when we read Death Note, because there are more books in the series to be read. I just keep on wondering what is going to happen next. Even though the book was so confusing, I might have to go pick up the next book to find out the rest of the story. The author gave a few clues as to what might happen next, but nothing that would give a clear and precise picture. I thought that she left Simon and Meg's relationship unresolved as well. On page 515 the author says, "He wasn't human. He would never be human. And Meg didn't expect him to be. But feeling her hand in his, Simon thought maybe he could learn to be human enough." I thought this left us as readers on a cliffhanger when it comes to Simon and Meg's relationship because they obviously have had a stable relationship in the book, but now it's turning into more. I kind of am left wondering what the future has in store for them.
Overall, I wouldn't consider this the best book I've ever had my hands on. It was confusing and hard to interpret and understand. I was left puzzled multiple times throughout the book, and had to quit reading a decent amount of times and take breaks because it was hard for me to wrap my head around. If I had the choice to read this book, I probably wouldn't do it over again just because this isn't my type of reading. I'm sure there's other people that really enjoyed this book, though.
